APERCU is collage art. Collage of colored paper is Japanese traditional arts. The concept of APERCU has crossed the boundaries of collage. A collage may sometime include prints, lace, embroidery, yarn and found other objects, glue to a piece of shawls, stoles and scarves.
The origin of collage can be traced back hundreds of years, but this technique made a dramatic reappearance in modern fashion.
